You need to have the hardware requirements below:

  • Processor:

    1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC
  • RAM:

    1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit

  • Hard disk space:

    16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS
  • Graphics card:

    DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
  • Display:


But even if you have a high end computer. You will still feel the heaviness of a Windows 10 operating system compared to a Windows 7 and 8.

So to answer your question on is it worth the upgrade? I would say No.

For now, no. I personally decided to downgrade back to Windows 8 as I found Windows 10 too complicated to use and generally wasn't a great operating system. You could give it a try but I felt like it was too messy.
